How Sponsorship Works

In impoverished areas, children suffer most. Every day, they experience severe hunger, life-threatening illness, abuse, and slavery. Often they are the last to eat. Their dreams are not considered and they live in a bleak world without choices. Sponsorship opens a world of hope for these children.

When you choose to sponsor a child, you give them the gift of hope. Your sponsored child knows that somebody cares whether they live or die. She gets an education and an opportunity to dream about the future. Most importantly, she learns about Jesus Christ.

The goal of child sponsorship is not to promote dependency, but to empower children to become self-reliant and financially independent.

Your prayers and support make all the difference in the life of your sponsored child. You may develop an important relationship with your child by exchanging letters. Our child sponsorship workers tell us that your letters and photos are prized possessions for sponsored children. A child may carry his sponsor's photo around in his pocket until it is ragged and worn. All letters can be sent to the I.N. Network USA mailing address. We will make sure they reach your sponsored child.
