When I was a little girl, I lived in a village with no proper school. I joined my friends and other village children to gather under a tree and learn what we could learn from the teacher who met us there. I had no books, but I had a pencil and paper to share with the other kids. I brought my own chair with me, but I felt very lucky to be one of the few able to go to this little school. Most of the kids in my village went with their parents to work at the rock quarry.
One day, International Needs decided to build a school in my village. Read more about Gifty.
Do you want your church or small group to really connect with missions on a global level?
It starts with one country and one person.
At International Needs, we are fortunate to have a wealth of Christians from many different countries working together to serve the Lord. One wonderful benefit to this is regular visitors from our ministry countries. These international visitors are eager to share ministry stories with churches, small groups, community groups, and schools. We call these visits National Tours.
Having a National Tour guest at your church or group is one of the best ways to connect with a specific country and a specific person. They have the best stories, which will make you laugh and cry. They make missions real because they bring the faces and stories of real people into your church.
