Turkey is the largest nation in the world that has little evidence of the gospel of Jesus Christ. For more than 1,000 years, it was a bastion of Christianity, but now it is an Islamic nation with an evangelical population of only .2% of the total population.

Executive Director Behnan is involved with many of the Christian churches in Turkey and is a well respected Christian leader. Church planting and evangelism are carried out by a small church plant in Istanbul. Since persecution is a big part of being a Christian in Turkey, Christian nurture is accomplished through personal visits and discipling church members. Because of the ostracism many Christians feel, internet evangelism and a Christian children's ministry are also very important parts of I.N. Network Turkey.

About the project:

Christian families in Turkey experience intense persecution. More than 99% of Turkey's population is Muslim; there is little room for the gospel. Christian children struggle in school and in their neighborhoods. Too often they experience rejection and even physical persecution. I.N. Network Turkey developed a children's ministry to provide a place for these children to thrive.
